From the Old Village to Carolina Park.

Palmetto Prestige Stone & Flooring remodels kitchens and bathrooms for Mount Pleasant homeowners, from the Old Village and Shem Creek to I'On, Park West, Dunes West and Carolina Park. In this town the kitchen is often the room people want to change most, so that's where we usually start: cabinets, countertops and layout. We also build tiled showers, set new vanities and lay floors. We're based in Summerville, roughly 50 minutes away without traffic, and the person who picks up the phone is the owner.
Mount Pleasant stretches from the harbor-side Old Village, with its porches and older cottages near Pitt Street and Alhambra Hall, along Coleman Boulevard and Highway 17 to master-planned neighborhoods farther north. The town grew quickly over the last few decades, so many houses are reaching the age when original kitchens and baths start to show wear: laminate tops, oak cabinets, cultured-marble vanities and fiberglass showers.
Open floor plans are common here, with the kitchen facing the family room. In that kind of space, a well-planned island, a full run of cabinetry and a durable stone top change how the whole downstairs looks.
When a wall, a window or an island calls for a size that stock boxes don't come in, we build the cabinets from scratch to your measurements. When standard sizes fit, we supply them and install them level and square, with fillers, hardware and trim.
Quartz, granite and marble tops are made with our local stone fabrication partner. Thiago has worked with countertops for about ten years, so the cabinet layout, the sink cutout and the backsplash are planned together instead of patched together. Details on kitchen remodeling and custom cabinets.
A dated hall bath or a primary suite with a little-used garden tub can become a tiled walk-in shower with a niche or a bench. When the room needs it, we open it to the studs, update the plumbing and wiring, then install backer board, waterproofing, porcelain and a new vanity with a stone top. More on bathroom remodeling.
Call Thiago at (843) 591-5134 and describe the cabinets, the countertop and the layout you have in mind.
Call (843) 591-5134Beyond kitchens and baths, we replace floors (flooring), add crown molding, shiplap and closets (carpentry), hang wallpaper or apply Venetian plaster (painting), and retile pool decks (pool decks) or lay herringbone paver walks (pavers).
We cover the whole town: the Old Village and the streets around Shem Creek, I'On, Snee Farm, Belle Hall, Park West, Dunes West, Carolina Park and the subdivisions along Highway 17 in between.
Downtown Charleston is just over the Ravenel Bridge, Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms are across the water, and Daniel Island sits on the far side of the Wando River. We serve all of them.
Each card shows the work itself. The area under it is one we serve, not the project's location.
