Floors for single rooms and whole homes

We install floors for homeowners in Summerville, Charleston, North Charleston, James Island, Moncks Corner and the islands. Palmetto Prestige Stone & Flooring lays vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, tile and solid hardwood in single rooms, hallways and whole houses, and we coat garage floors with epoxy.

Flooring is in our name, and the owner is on site for every install.

Floors we install

  • Vinyl plank (LVP): a common pick for busy rooms and beach houses
  • Laminate: bedrooms and living spaces
  • Tile: porcelain, ceramic and large-format tile for floors and bathrooms
  • Solid hardwood: real wood floors, hallways included
  • Epoxy: coated garage floors and other concrete spaces

What happens before the first plank

A floor only looks right if the base under it is right. When the project calls for it, the old flooring comes out, what's underneath gets checked, and transitions at doorways and between rooms are planned so the new floor meets the next one cleanly.

Baseboards and trim finish a floor. We can replace those too, through our custom carpentry work.

Tile floors and walls

We set porcelain, ceramic and large-format tile on floors, shower walls and backsplashes, keeping the surface level and the grout lines tight.

Tile on a pool deck is covered on our pool decks page, and tiled showers are part of a bathroom remodel.

Epoxy garage floors

We prepare the concrete and apply epoxy coatings to garage floors and other concrete spaces. The prep comes first, because the coating needs a clean, sound slab to bond to.

Flooring questions

Which floor suits a kitchen or bathroom?

It depends on how the room is used and the look you want. Vinyl plank and porcelain tile are common choices there. We'll go over the options when we see the space.

Do you take out the old flooring?

Yes, when the project calls for it. The old floor comes out and the base is checked before the new one goes down.

Do you install real hardwood?

Yes. We install solid hardwood as well as laminate and vinyl plank.

Can you do one floor through several rooms?

Yes. We install floors in a single room or across the whole home, with the transitions planned at each doorway.

Do you coat garage floors with epoxy?

Yes. We prepare the concrete and apply an epoxy coating to garage floors and other concrete areas.

Is flooring covered by your warranty?

Yes. Our 1-year limited workmanship warranty covers the installation. Product defects fall under the manufacturer's warranty. Full warranty terms.

How can I pay?

We accept credit and debit cards, Zelle, checks and cash.
