We remodel kitchens for homeowners in Summerville, Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island and the islands. Palmetto Prestige Stone & Flooring can take a kitchen from the subfloor to the backsplash: cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, appliance installation and the plumbing and electrical work a new layout needs.
Palmetto Prestige was founded with cabinets in mind. Thiago still builds them from scratch, and he is on site through every stage of your kitchen.
Custom cabinets, built to fit
Stock cabinet boxes come in set sizes. When a wall, a window or an odd corner doesn't match those sizes, we build the cabinets from scratch to your measurements and install them. That goes for kitchen runs, islands, pantry cabinets and built-ins.
When standard cabinets suit the room, we supply them and set them level and square, with the hardware, fillers and trim that finish the run.

Countertops
Thiago has worked with countertops for about ten years, so the top is planned together with the cabinets: the overhang at the island, the sink cutout and where the backsplash meets the stone.
Quartz, granite and marble tops are made and installed together with our local stone fabrication partner. Butcher block is different: our own team builds those tops and installs them, like the one in the kitchen projects below.
Countertops are part of our bathroom remodels too.
Backsplash
We install subway and porcelain tile backsplashes and cut them cleanly around outlets, windows and the range hood. A backsplash can go in with a full remodel or as part of a smaller kitchen update.
Our kitchen projects include classic subway rows and full stone slabs carried up the wall behind the range.

No two kitchens price alike. A countertop and backsplash refresh over existing cabinets is a very different job from a kitchen rebuilt around new cabinets and floors, so the quote comes after a visit.
- Cabinet count and type: custom boxes built to your measurements or supplied boxes, plus any island or pantry wall
- Moving appliances: relocating the sink, range or refrigerator adds new water, drain and power runs
- Stone and slab size: quartz, granite, marble or butcher block, and how big the island top is
- Tile and floors: backsplash pattern and height, and how much new flooring goes down
- Hidden damage: a soft or water-stained subfloor under old cabinets gets repaired before anything new is set

Can you build cabinets for an odd space?
Yes. When standard sizes don't fit a wall, a window or a corner, we build the cabinets from scratch to your measurements and install them.
Do you supply the cabinets?
Yes. We can supply standard cabinets and install them, or build custom ones when the room calls for it.
Do you build pantry cabinets?
Yes. Pantry cabinets and storage can be part of the remodel, built to the space you have.
Do you install countertops?
Yes. Quartz, granite and marble tops are made and installed with our local stone fabrication partner, and butcher block tops are built by our own team.
Can I get a new backsplash without a full remodel?
Yes. A backsplash can be part of a smaller kitchen update, along with new countertops over your existing cabinets.
Do you handle the plumbing, electrical and appliances?
Yes. The plumbing and electrical work for the new layout is part of the project, and we install the appliances.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
