Painting is where our owner started
Palmetto Prestige Stone & Flooring paints homes inside and out in Summerville, Charleston, Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, Kiawah Island and the beach towns. When he was still in school, Thiago spent his summer breaks working in his father's painting company.
Today we paint walls, ceilings, trim, doors, siding, decks and pool decks, and we also install wallpaper and apply Venetian plaster.
Interior painting
Inside, most of the work is prep: patching holes and cracks and covering the floors before the first coat. Then walls, ceilings, trim and doors get clean, straight lines.
Exterior painting
Outside, siding, trim, doors, decks and pool decks are cleaned and prepped before any paint goes on. Near the coast, humidity and salt air are hard on exterior finishes, which is why the prep matters so much.
Wallpaper installation
We also install wallpaper. Call to talk through the room and the paper you have in mind.
Venetian plaster
Venetian plaster is a troweled wall finish with a soft, stone-like look. It's one of the finishes we offer; call to talk about the wall you have in mind.

Do you paint both interiors and exteriors?
Yes. Inside, we paint walls, ceilings, trim and doors. Outside, siding, trim, doors and decks.
Can you paint my deck or pool deck?
Yes. Decks and pool decks are part of our exterior painting. See pool decks for tile and paint on the deck around a pool.
Do you patch walls before painting?
Yes. Holes and cracks are patched as part of the prep.
Are the floors protected while you paint?
Yes. Floors are covered before we start.
Do you install wallpaper?
Yes. Call and tell us about the room and the paper.
What is Venetian plaster?
A troweled wall finish with a soft, stone-like look. We offer it alongside painting and wallpaper.
